My birth name is Diego Valencia López, and I was born in Mexico City in 1995. Since then, I have built a career as a composer, producer, teacher, DJ, and music therapist. I studied for a bachelor's degree in Music Production and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music (2015-2019) and obtained a diploma in music therapy from UNAM (2023). In 2022, a new musical and spiritual path opened before me. I decided to walk it, but not as Diego, but as Vazlá. My mission as Vazlá is to be a portal to facilitate the arrival of new and precious music. This music will be our guide in exploring our inner and outer worlds. This music will shelter us with its beauty and give us the strength to push ourselves to the limits of the known. In 2023, I released my debut album, Edenes Perdidos, a collection of original pieces and remixes I made for other incredible artists. Now I am actively producing new music, performing at events that promote the expansion of our individual and collective consciousness, and leading the choir En Armonía.
